Drivers' Education
The Driver’s Education Program will be offered once a year, during electives. Generally, students are given priority to register for class based on age, although TSA reserves the right to include a student in the class, outside of the age criteria, where a specific need is demonstrated. The fee for Driver’s Ed class will be set annually.
This course will introduce students to the concepts and skills necessary for beginning drivers in the context of a risk prevention curriculum. The curriculum consists of 30 hours of classroom time, six hours of in-vehicle training, and at least six hours of observation for each student. The course is a prerequisite to obtaining the Junior Operator's License in the state of Vermont.
